Everyone can be an Athlete

When you think about athletes, no matter what the sport, they all have certain things in common. Of course different sports require varying skills, but consider a football, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, hockey or soccer athlete, or someone who plays golf, tennis, or pickleball and what are the necessary abilities one would need to engage in any of these activities?
Balance, hand eye coordination, transfer of weight and power, agility, spatial awareness, and reaction time. If you stop to think about it, whether its sports or everyday life, if you are not developing and improving these skills, at best, you wont be the best that you could be in your chosen endeavor and in life, you are an potential injury ticking time bomb. The above is why i train all of my clients to be athletic, whether they “athletes” or not. The quality of life improvements from training athletically, in all planes of movement are noticeable and wonderful in every person that spends time at JF5 Fitness
